component upgrade 2.0008

    Can anyone please tell me when i will be able to upgrade from 2.000.6 to 2.000.8 as i missed the download the other week.Can i get it from the eset home page, or will it be released again soon for download.

    Somewhere around here it was mentioned that the fixed program update should be re-released sometime this week. The program download was returned to an earlier version as well, so I don't think you can get an updated version until they release it again on site and for the updaters.

    There was a problem with upgrade 2.000.8 and it was pulled from the servers after it gave Windows XP SP1 users BSOD's and error messages to do with AMON.sys failing to unload (or something similar).

    Your system will auto-update to the latest engine when it becomes available.

    The users who encounter this problem and submit it to Microsoft will get a link to download the fix. The new program component update is now being deeply tested and will be released any time soon.

    Marcos, will the next component upgrade fix the existing error message problem o_O I gather it will...
