I have now uninstalled Nod32 and installed Avira (free). I put Avira on max settings. Worked ok. After computerscan only 1 FP easy to figure out.

But then I installed OA free. Finish setup and restart, everything is ok until I try to start Avira. I get this:

I get this also when I suspend (not uninstall) ThreatFire. So I guess they dont work together.

 

I uninstalled ThreatFire and I can now start Avira. Probably same issue as other have experienced, but I had to find out myself.

I wonder if problems will occur in these setups:

TF/Avira/Prosecurity
TF/Avira/EQS
TF/OA (all versions)
TF/OA/EQS
OA/EQS/Avira

I really would like to keep TF but may have to let it go.

 

I had to let Threatfire go cause it messes with Firefox of all things! Avira free + SAS Pro + Threatfore = firefox extension erros. I love Threatfire - so easy to use - if you can get it to work fine, I'd use it without any other HIPS.

Also EQS + OA + AVIRA

I also think about OA paid + EQS. Could it make sense? Or EQS will cover all the same as OA paid, like webguard, phising, AS etc.

Anyway I have a lot to test. Time for it is my biggest problem right now It will take me weeks. But if anyone interested I can update here.

Edit: Also, excactly what functions are disabled in OA if I disable the HIPS function?
