    Just an Update on:
    Noticed that my AntiVir's GUI Console was having trouble opening with all those 800 'Logfiles' so I deleted most of them (50MB worth), still have 30MB in four AVUPDATE TEMPS that were somehow saved from nine months agoo_O

    can anyone explain why my kaspersky folder in program files is now 140mb?
    it started as 12mb.
    because the bases are stored somewhere else arent they?

    how large is your AV folder in C:/?

    hey, im just curious......

    i hear of avs with large updates, adding dramitically to the space the AV is using on the harddrive, i know its never massive, but im still curious to see how much, can you post yours please, will be interesting to see if the av's pc recommendations match.

    dr.webs folder: 10.0mb exactly (latest version, with SPAM)

    :D Hi there.

    NOD32 2.70 -> 43.9 Mb

    but it contains install subfolder (13 Mb) which can be taken out of account, so:
    NOD32 2.70 -> 43.9 -13 = 30.9Mb

    updfiles subfolder -> 6.7 MB

    infected subfolder (quarantine) - > 7.9 Mb :D :D

    Cheers.

    EDIT: 500Mb seems a lot to me. How big is your quarantine? Are you a "risky" surfer by chance? :D Or did you performed some HD transfer (copying, moving) of "suspicious" material recently? Well, don't answer that, but take it into consideration. ;)
