I think there was a user who gave you a golden advice:"calm down". Moreover you should be careful what you say these days, when you used words such as "deserve" and "shot" and you put those words into the context of criminality and may God forbid something happen to Comodo or one of their employees, you could be part of a prime suspect(s) list on any law enforcement investigation. I've got to follow this closely from now on.

    Thanks.

    I agree too

  3. Well one thing for sure...

No more tool bars... no more live pc support. Its just pure CIS. Nothing else.

this ver should solve alot of bugs with sandbox too people were experiencing.

IMO this is a positive step in the right direction. It's good to see Comodo returning to their core vision of a free security suite, without pushing toolbars and Live PC support which always did seem a bit tacky.

I think more like this... how can things like security in cyberspace be taken personally at all, if it's not about a human being (at a company) or the company itself, but a product?

I do hope it has something to do with the company and not a piece of software lying on a PC... :ouch:

now they have installers for firewall only, antivirus or security suite so that should be no problem.

\Device\Usb#Vid* -to "My Protected Files" for webcam capture
\RPC Control\AudioSrv -to "My Protected COM Interfaces" for audio recording

Have you spent much time trying to participate in the Comodo forums? I'll just say I prefer Wilders because it is carefully and professionally moderated. If Wilders had a line of software products the conduct of this forum would reflect positively on the products. You see where I'm going here?

I think certain people who are in industry hate it because it is completely free with all features enabled, so they need to publish free versions also... every reason which is not an above one is just excuse for above one :p... IMO!

That is not exactly a fair or accurate statement at all.
There are both technical and other reasons to have issues with this company.

The fact that at any given time so many of the "features",enabled or not,
are dysfunctional or buggy for example.

Why do people complain about Avira when it has updating problems?

There are plenty of people who are not willing to give Comodo a free pass,
to boast inflated claims, and release buggy programs, just because they provide "free" software, but I do not see them as persecuted either.

Many comment on Comodo since many use or have try it. Take defensewall ok? More people use Comodo than defensewall and online armor. of course many people more will say bad of Comodo if more people use or have try it ok? i know many chinese people who say bad on defensewall and onlinearmor. just on english forum all blind follow of ilya and mike! many people i know has problem with buggy online armor and defensewall. ok? All software bug. Some people dont have problem. These keep quiet and enjoy. Then other who hate product will yell at top of voice when problem. Simple ok?

    OK.

Is it the smaller user base of DefenceWall and OnlineArmour,or "blind follow of ilya and mike!"??

The problem reports are there on both TallEmu and SoftSphere forums.
the way they are handled is a real difference between them and Comodo.
    (As Victek123 hinted at)

The rhetoric is a point of divergence also.

Take Ilya for example, when he anounced plans for a firewall in DefenceWall, did he make grandiose claims such as: "We are going to have one of the top three firewall on the market in less than a year"??

you can use Comodo DNS service/servers (built in installer) instead, I think it provide similar function, dont know really, but if it is, its cloud based (fancy term ;))

I thought this version was supposed to also have "Acid-like" cleaning & a Behaviour Blocker? :(

A little dissappointed, but they have improved the Sanbox a lot.:thumb:

If you don't like it, dont use it, this is correct, however all programs face criticism at one point, COMODO is not an exception to the rule
