There's something there to actually look at? :D

She'll either burn the computer in a bonfire in anger, or kill one or both of you :D

Isn't Comodo a newcomer to AV?
I could be wrong but isn't it just a couple of years old ...(2009)??

Personally, I've come to the conclusion that AV is all scare tactics and BS.

I've have no real time AV running.
Just Comodo Def+ ...SandboxIE... and EMET.

But I congratulate Comodo for gaining so much ground so quickly.

I didn't mean that I thought that malware is BS. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that.

I do think it's BS when AV vendors spread "Fear/Uncertainty/Doubt"
in a cynical attempt to scare people into buying their product year after year.
And these AV testing websites just reinforce the myth that if you can just find the right AV software then you are safe.

Huh? Ok I'll go tell my grand parents to not use an AV because it a myth that they protect you and tell them to use a HIPS

Stop smoking , AV's have their uses.

AV's have their place in a layered security. I think to totally rely on AV detection is short sighted. I was like many that thought that if you're AV didn't have a high detection rate you were screwed. Now I see it as a line of defense. I'm not nearly concerned with detection rates as I once was. I would rather worry about other things. Like what kind of beer to drink or whether or not the Red Sox will make it mid season with a positive win column.
