    Great work Comodo. :thumb:

Not because of this test, but hearing about various improvements over the past year, might have to give their latest version a try.

It took them long and it was about freakin time they finally got some certification since they seem to avoid any tests like vampires are avoiding garlic...

Can't say I was expecting this to ever happen, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Time to give Comodo a whirl again. Hopefully they're a viable alternative now.

I hope they continue the same success in the future VB100 Tests.

Well I just would like to CONGRATULATE Comodo for this achievement, but in the meantime I highly doubt on the test results of VB100. I don't HOW the new products able to clear VB100 in their very first appearance and then keep on failing on every next test. Whereas BIG players like COMODO failed in their 1st two test and then get their first certification on 3rd test.

Is it something wrong going in VB100... ?

I don't want to rain on their parade, but doesn't getting the VB100 mean that it can detect the most common or basic infections out there?

It does, but Comodo has had a history of sucking so much for so long that this is quite a major achievement.

This is based on what? I haven't seen any PC I've put Comodo on get infected yet. The big test will come to pass for me if Comodo can keep my buddies teen daughters PC clean, she clicks on everything:mad:

Oohh look, nude pictures of Justin Bieber

I was darn tempted to take IE off her PC and just use FF with No Script.

You mean besides the obvious: on Comodo's utterly abysmal performance in the past?

They've failed VB, they've failed to get included in AV-C, on various other tests everywhere they score 30% detection rate on a good day while the CEO prances on about how "prevention is more important". But hopefully things are changing for the better.

    Really?

Do let us know how that goes.
