This is the first time CIS have been in a version for so long, which is not necessarily bad because they have a more stable software but i was so used to CIS being developed extremely fast. :D

The Virtual Kiosk in CIS 6 will make the Sandboxie unnecessary.

Perhaps I'll believe that statement in the future, but certainly not now. :)

thanks. Yes the new UI is quite a departure from the older one. Looks like new UI is more streamlined and non-multi window model (in-content) ;)

I can't wait to get my hand's on the new version. I wonder if the resource usage will be the same as the current version or any lighter? I am definitely excited about this one.

The Devs mentioned the resource usage will be lighter with all the new features.

OnDemand Scans improved 17 times faster than now & more options.

Realtime performance improvements with permanent cache & many improvements.

i think what egemen was said is that its completion time difference b/w first and subsequent scans.

v5 - I think it is. no VFS
v6 - I remember they saying virtualization also included with automatic one. but lets wait for beta for its inner workings.. :)

also nice to see CCE + Killswitch being integrated to CIS...per screenshots
