While the in-house guys aren't exactly amateurs they could certainly benefit from adding a top notch talent or two to their art team IMO.
There's an abundance of highly skilled interface guys at deviantart.com who usually tend to work pretty cheap.
That said, I'd take a relatively bug-free CIS over a sexy CIS every day of the week.

They will also include a local behaviour blocker but in future releases of v5

Screens look nice. Might have to give it a try again when it is released.

i will definitely stick with CIS complete for a long time as it runs really smooth on my old P4 512 meg ram computer. No complaints so far and really light :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: very nice here

Agree with gery, but I only have the FW installed. Hopefully for the new Comodo, the GUI would only show the stuff intalled (ie. only the FW is installed, and no D+)

If you watched the video by Languy, he clearly states (I think a number of times) that the Alpha version doesn't include the new protection features. These will be enabled and completely implemented later on.

The problem is that the mods are not at liberty to discuss a great deal about the mechanics of the new version yet.Once it reaches Beta stage all will be revealed.;)

That's not just a Comodo thing, most likely all vendors do that with the Mod's.

Also most beta's/alphas have a policy where testers are not allowed to share anything with anybody.

Anyone have a link for CIS 2011? Is it in beta or Alpha at the moment?

Not being deliberately mysterious,it's just that the devs have said to keep to a brief overview of GUI changes and suchlike. All the technical details will come out when the beta arrives. There are quite a few improvements to the sndbox, both with security and usability and the move toward more cloud based detection.

Cloud AV/BB, sandbox improved, Game Mode and protection against uninstall from a HTA file :D. Those looks like are main improvements.

Glad to see the cloud being implemented into Comodo, but the "an unknown file will be executed for you in our servers and its behavior analysed before you execute it" part sounds a little unfortunate for us low-bandwidth folk :doubt:
