Comodo firewall question

    in attack detections i can see protect the arp cache.what is that?do i need it?i read the help file and still dont understand if i should turn it on.

    You can Google "arp cache poisoning" to see what an arp attack is all about. I don't have it on, but would turn it on if I thought something like that might be happening.

    Arp spoofing cannot be overcome by any singe firewall by definition. In case a spoofer spoofs a gateway with your fake MAc address your firewall can do nothing. In case it is impossible it is also impossible to spoof your card with a fake gateway MAC. So just ignore this setting, it has not any practical value.
