Since the last time I used Chrome many issues probably got fixed - including, I hope, the ones I reported. Soon, I'll test it again.

But today I read something that wasn't good for Chrome:

Nice, but native support implemented just like Firefox Live Bookmarks and IE Favorites Bar, or even an extension that used such conception of handling RSS Feeds (not the case of this one, if comments on the page are true) would suit better to my personal needs.

The inability to open 40 tabs may be offset by this?

OK, thanks for the reply. It seems odd to me that the Dragon is posited as a high security browser, yet if it has no adblocker that seems to be a bit of a security lapse, to me anyway.

Thanks for the reply, I'll have to have a look at an outside adblocker sometime.

How is this compared to other Chrome based browsers?

I was thinking the same thing, I am wondering whether to download it & give it a spin.

I haven't tried Dragon or Iron or Chrome Plus, despite the wonderful things the last-named is supposed to provide over the vanilla Chrome. I'll stay loyal to the original :D

But, I wouldn't term lack of an adblocker a security lapse. Lack of an integrated convenience, sure!

I always thought that one of the most common ways of being infected with malware was through an infected flash advert. Anyway, if K-Meleon can have an intergral adblocker (let alone an inbuilt privacy bar) why not Dragon? It just seems a bit of an oversight on a browser touted as being 'safety conscious'.

Does anyone know if AdBlock would work in Comodo Dragon?

That issue is still present in the v6 alpha. I don't really notice it much since I'm not regularly opening many tabs.

    Yup.

If it's not updated as regularly as Chrome it's useless. Other browser spinoffs like SRWare Iron still have known vulnerabilities in them since the author doesn't update often. I'd assume this is the same for Dragon, so I wouldn't call it a secure browser.

You're not being serious right? Iron isn't somehow immune to chromium's vulnerabilities, same for ChromePlus, and Dragon.

Just because it's not on Secunia doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

OK, but it does use a different branch to Chrome & the Iron guys do upgrade regularly. I just wish they'd fix that back-button bug LOL!
