A few days ago, I was expecting my ISP to significantly upgrade my connection speed. At midnight, Comodo detected a new network. I allowed this, thinking it was part of the upgrade. Sure enough, the upgrade had been implemented. Is this usual for a cable modem?

Today, I deleted a folder of files. I used DataRecovery (DR) to undelete a few but DR also found numerous strange files such as:
    sxproxy.dll
    syskey.exe
    sti.dll
    ssshim.dll
    sstpsvc.dll
    systray.exe
    sysntfy.dll
    sysclass.dll
    sxstrace.exe
    sxproxy.dll
    SubRange.uce
    streamci.dll
    systemcpl.dll
    TabbtnEx.dll
    TRACERT.EXE
    thumbcache.dll
    termsrv.dll
    tdh.dll
    tcpmonui.dll
    tdh.dll
    tcpmib.dll
    webcheck.dll
    url.dll
    vss_ps.dll

There were multiple instances of each of the above files. The original location, supposedly, was my folder but this is not possible. An AV scan found nothing.

Can anyone throw any light on this? Thanks in advance.
