I want to make it so MRU Blaster can run by itself when I click on the Shortcut Icon.

Are there command line options for MRU-B ?

In the "Target" line of an XP Shortcut,

    "C:\Program Files\MRU - Blaster\mrublaster.exe"

can I place something at the end to make it scan and then exit?

Then I could have the Shortcut "Minimized" and it would run and exit w/o it ever showing up on the desktop.....

    Hi,

    From the readme:

SILENT CLEAN OPTION: To have MRU-Blaster start silently, and automatically clean MRU lists in the background (operation takes about 2 seconds - very fast!) then create a shortcut, and add the command-line parameter "-silent". Now you can have MRU-Blaster run at start-up or shut-down, with no input from the user!

    :)

One important note, though: you'll want to uncheck any items in the global settings that you don't want cleaned beforehand. The silent clean doesn't give you the option to select what you want cleaned after it scans - it just cleans any MRUs it detects automatically.

    Best regards,

Normally, when you run MRU Blaster from the Icon, it requests answers.

You have to click scan and then clean....

By placing the '-silent' command, the button clicking is bypassed?

    Thanks....
