    Does ATI 9.0 support command line interface ?
    For purposes of running it as Windows Scheduled Task.

    The ATI 9.0 own scheduler miss one important feature for me:
    Shutting down the OS after all scheduled images have been created.

    Does any newer version of ATI support automatic system shut-down
    after image process completed or the command line interface ?

    Versions 11 and 2009 allow you to add in pre and post commands to your tasks. V10 might allow it as well, but that is a version that I skipped.

    Hello chrizio,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    We are sorry for delayed response.

    Starting with Acronis True Image 10.0 Home, an option to shut down computer after backup was added.

    In Acronis True Image 9.0 Home you can use the Pre/Post commands option of Acronis True Image to achieve a similar effect:

    - Run the Schedule Task wizard;
    - At the Set Backup Options step choose Set the options manually;
    - Click Pre/Post commands;
    - Choose the Use commands option;
    - Click the Edit button next to the After the backup process field;
    - Put in the Post command as specified below:

    Command: shutdown
    Working directory: C:\Windows\System32\
    Arguments: -s

    This command will automatically shut down the computer after the completion of backup process.

    Please note that the Validate backup archive upon operation completion option cannot be used with this workaround. The post command is executed right after backup completion, not after the validation procedure.

    You can also put in any other shutdown command parameter in the Arguments field. For the complete list of the parameters please see this Microsoft KB article.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for your valuable hint.
    1. I see that all executable files can be selected as post- pre-processing.
    Is that right ? Something else, i.e.: predefined and built-in commands ?

    I have scheduled two tasks.
    They are scheduled at time point when windows scan-disc tool does own
    job - checking disks for errors in stand-alone mode - Windows not really started.
    Both tasks have checked the option "start task if scheduled when PC was down".
    So, as soon as the disc check tool has completed its job, Windows
    will start and ATI will trigger scheduled tasks.

    2. How to ensure that one task is not shutting down system before the another one
    is not completed ?
