    This article says it is about cold boot attack but it is really about attacking a locked but still running system with an encrypted container mounted. Software can't protect you from an actual cold boot attack.

    If I was worried about being attacked the FIRST thing I would do is get rid of Bitlocker!! That is the opinion of many around here even though we don't have any concrete proof.

    Cold boot is a hardware issue but if you have ddr3 you would be clean in a few seconds after halting the system.
