    Working with HJT logs, I’ve seen this entry:
    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/26d79a7...ip/RdxIE601.cab

    A search for the CLSID in SpywareBlaster 3.3 shows:
    Netster - {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71}

    This CLSID also shows up in a Spywaredata search as being from RealNetworks, Inc.

    I’m not sure of the specifics on how SpywareBlaster works but if a person uses SpywareBlaster would they be able to install this ActiveX object for RealNetworks? Is the killbit set by CLSID or is there more to it?

    Sorry for the rookie questions – but it’s something I was wondering.

    Hi 4SG, and welcome to the forum. :)
    Yes, but you can add the item (CLSID) to the Permanent Ignore List within SpywareBlaster.

    Please see - Javacool Software Knowledge Base: Adding an Item to the Permanent Ignore List

    Hope that helps,
