Does anyone know the command or script that I can use to close Outlook with a pre-command on backup and then open it back up with a post? Opening back up isn't so important but closing would be really nice.

    Thanks

    Josh

    Hello JoshFink,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Would like to mention that you do not need to close files/applications in order to back up them using Acronis True Image. Acronis True Image uses Acronis Drive Snapshot technology that allows you to back up open and system files with no issue. You can also continue to use your computer during backup.

However, if you feel more comfortable you could follow Thanquol advice and use pre/post command to close application before backup.

    Thank you.
