Cloning mode question

I am about to attempt my first hard drive cloning procedure. Having read the program help files, ( TI version 11. build 8,101), and the beginners guide from this forum, I am still unsure of one thing. If I clone using Automatic mode is the source disk erased, or not. I understand Manual mode gives me the option of saving or deleting the data. Not sure about Automatic mode. Thank you for help.

I would not risk performing in the Automatic mode.
