Is there a product by Acronis that will clone a standalone Dynamic Disc onto a RAID volume? I'd like to be able to move my Windows disk onto RAID and then be able to boot from it.

    Thanks in advance

It's just that I've been reading the forums and elsewhere and it seems as though this isn't supported by True Image Home, which is the only one I'd consider due to cost. Can Enterprise even do this easily?

Or can the Home or Disk Director Suite do this with an update, or is support planned for the near future?

    Thanks in advance...

    Hello Fluence,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Please note that Dynamic Disks are supported only by Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Windows and Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server for Windows.

If you want to be completely sure that the restored operating system will boot and function normally then we recommend that you use Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Windows or Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server in conjunction with Acronis Universal Restore for your purposes. Acronis Universal Restore technology provides an efficient solution for hardware-independent system restoration by replacing the crucial HAL and hard disk controller drivers. Please read more information on how to use Acronis Universal Restore in the respective Acronis True Image User's Guide.

We also recommend that you download and install the free trial version of Acronis True Image to see how the software works on your particular software\hardware configuration.

If you want to obtain the free trial version of Acronis Universal Restore then please submit a request for technical support using Ask a question before you purchase Acronis software link. Explain your wish to obtain the free trial version of Acronis Universal and provide the link to this thread in your request.

    Thank you.
