Cloned Vista Drive + Bitlocker

Has anyone had any success with Cloning a Vista Drive w/bitlocker? I have tried several times both with bitlocker enabled and then with it disabled. It boots but get nothing but a blank screen with cursor after logging in.

It's really very simple - there's no way to restore - the image is not encrypted so the drive won't work after the restore.
