Recently a lot of websites like MajorGeeks, Softpedia, Freewarefiles and even the respectable SnapFiles published Eusing Cleaner 2.0, another fishy product from Eusing software company. Why fishy? Because Eusing Cleaner is just another poor clone of CCleaner. All the EUSING products are always presented with a obtrusive donation nag screen which you have to click on! No way to disable this without paying the $15.00 donation. Keep your eyes open next time when you want to download a ''cleaner''.

    The Clone Wars

    1st Place: Crap Cleaner
    http://www.evonsoft.com/crap-cleaner.htm
Crap Cleaner, the 100% free computer speed up software can help you renew your computer like a brand new one by cleaning up the craps, clean temp files, clean useless files that has taken hard drives.

Notes: Evonsoft = IObit = the guys that stole MBAM's definitions.

    2nd Place: Eusing Cleaner
    http://www.eusing.com/free_system_cleaner/system_cleaner.htm
Eusing Cleaner is a free system optimization and privacy cleaner tool. It allows you to find and remove the unused files in your system, invalid registry entries, delete your internet history, provides plug-in support to clean the history for over 150 third-party applications.

Notes: Eusing Cleaner developer use the words '' free system optimization and privacy cleaner tool'' but at every start-up, like in all Eusing products you will get an annoying ''DONATE'' screen. The same code was used in other similar software (check below) useless to talk about the CCleaner GUI similarity. Check the screenshots...

    3rd Place: ACleaner
    http://www.cleanersoft.com/cleaner/privacy_registry_cleaner.htm
ACleaner is a safe and easy-to-use privacy protection tool, that allows you to erase common Internet and computing tracks, including browser cache, cookies, visited websites, typed URLs, recent documents, index.dat files and more.
Notes: ACleaner is a clone of CCleaner or Eusing Cleaner? ACleaner copied CCleaner than Eusing copied ACleaner and CCleaner, I think. Now who copied who? 'Cause I don't understand anymore. Check the screenshots...

    4th Place: Free Privacy Eraser
    http://www.cleanersoft.com/free_privacy_eraser/privacy_eraser.htm
Free Privacy Eraser allows you to erase common Internet and computing tracks, including browser cache, cookies, visited websites, typed URLs, recent documents, index.dat files and more.

Notes: Free Privacy Eraser is the little brother of ACleaner that is a clone of CCleaner or Eusing Cleaner and then ACleaner copied CCleaner than Eusing copied ACleaner and CCleaner. Again I'm lost in transition. Check the screenshots...

    5th Place: Free Window Sweeper
    http://www.findsth.com/
Free Window Sweeper is a free privacy tool for cleaning up the history of your activities on a computer. With simply one click, Free Window Sweeper allows you to remove Internet and computer traces, browser history, cookies, index.dat files, typed URLs and more.

Notes: The same as above. Check the screenshots...

    7thPlace: EasyPC Cleaner Free
    http://www.easypctool.com/pccleaner.html

Interfaces are one thing, but it's the underlying code that's really important. Especially with such accusations.

Thank you very much for compiling the list above. :thumb:

Softpedia no longer lists any of the programs you've mentioned, as we do our best to stay away from any clones, scams, rogues, scarewares etc.

Even the respectable SnapFiles?
What do you mean, Softpedia is not respectable? Tell that to Mozart :D
Eusing Cleaner's GUI is a pathetic clone of CCleaner, i agree, but i use their registry cleaner for quite some time and it seems to do a good job (well, apart from the nagscreen)

Crap Cleaner? Isn't that what CCleaner stands for?

6th place isn't similar. 7th place looks more like Glary Utilities.

Yes, you are right. "Internet Disk Cleaner" is a re-branded "Free Internet Window Washer" - a Eusing product.

It seems Eusing has agreements to re-branded their software.

That's perfect legit software. It has nothing to do with the ''cleaning/junk removal process'' . It's a simple but powerful program that removes pre-installed software (bloatware) from new computers (Ask Toolbar, eBay Worldwide, Best Buy Software Installer) .etc..
