Cleaning For Performance - Is It Real - Check Some Tests!

In case I wasn't clear, I was referring to tests like http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=3161&p=4, where I don't think they fill the drives with any files.

Supposing HDTune doesn't actually read files on the drive -> then the different results you obtained could be down to variance? (And not that cleaning or defrag doesn't matter.)

I wonder if the free & pro versions tests differently, since it looks slightly different from yours.
