    Hi please see reply. It won't give you 100% protection with its default settings. If you find it too difficult to change the default settings to make it more secure, then switch to an easier suite.

    The open GUI seems quite heavy though.
    20mb.

    Its heavier in this aspect than v5.
    But overall is still a very light program for what it offers.

    @smage

    Thanks info.
    Egemen is on the case.

    @amiga500

    I'm not really noticing a difference at all to be honest, all CIS suites the past few years have been light but this feels lighter on my machine anyway.

    This program is crazy lightweight. 5-6 meg on my machine, with barely any cpu or disk i/o.

    Hmm weird....
    I had the GUI open and the ram usage soared..
    When closed it was light as a feather..

    Maybe i will attempt another install...
    I ran the forum uninstaller tool before..

    Thanks.

    I see absolutely no point in observing opened GUI stats. It's not like you run GUI while you're running an intensive game or something...

    I agree. I only look at the stats when the gui is closed.

    There are problems with Rating Scan. (AGAIN)
    It show safe files as unknown.

    It is very boring bug and answer for me.

    Re: CIS 6.2.282872.2847 Released!

    Does anyone else get Network Intrusion notifications via Summary Screen, with anti-ARP spoofing enabled?

    Windows Operating System is the cause, Comodo Firewall Blocks the attempt, appears to be an in-bound connection and is of ARP Protocol.

    If I disable anti-ARP spoofing, the notifications seem to stop.

    Just wondering if anyone else is getting the same thing, with anti-ARP spoofing enabled.

    If you change firewall settings in stealth ports and alert to incoming connections ,its an incoming connection to port 445 which is the ms-ds service for file sharing etc.

    also why does the virtualized browser get logged as an intrusion in the comodo logs.?

    Re: CIS 6.2.282872.2847 Released!

    I dont know problem source. It doesnt work for some new files, not for all files.
    I submit 40-50 unknown files 1-2 days ago then they said "we processed them".
    today i checked submitted files with "rating scan" and using "unrecognized files" lookup. And they are still unknown.

    Then i report again, but they said "These files are already whitelisted, if the problem still persists please post in bug section."

    If there is a problem, (off course there is) i dont know, why they dont interest and just said me "submit bug report".
    This is not new. There are other examples on their forum. What can i say, i will not submit bug report off course.

    Btw;
    It is not first time. I talked problem with one of moderator(or team member anyway) 1-2 moths ago
    They said this is releated with CIS 6, I checked with v5 there is not problem, all files are looking safe. We will fix it ASAP.
    They fixed for previous files but again same problem.

    BTW, the best way to know if they have been whitelisted is to execute them. Sometimes cloud lookup or rating scan say both unknown whereas on execution there are not alerts cause the file is checked online to be safe.
