I came across this application in Softpedia's website -http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Launchers-Shutdown-Tools/Chroot-for-Windows.shtml

I didn't try it. But, I thought some would like to know about it. If you do try it, by all means report your results. :D

Chroot is a lot like Sandboxie. It's just a separate area of the OS that only has access to specific files.

Chroots are a bit more like a VM though as you can install an entire operating system to one. This program seems more like a regular sandbox than an actual chroot.

Still interesting to see. I don't think I'll be trying it out as I don't feel like booting into Windows but I'd be curious to hear about it.

  3. If it worked, it would be really cool. The question is, "How well does it work?" The claim is that it uses undocumented Windows features... Perhaps those features are undocumented for a reason?

This "Airesoft" person has created some other interesting stuff too, BTW: http://www.airesoft.co.uk/
