    I've been experimenting with Iron portable, I am quite impressed so far. Mind you, I do drink a lot of real ale ... ;)

    After seeing the abundant mention of portableapps.com (with what intention?), both here and on the product's site, I checked with the folks at portableapps.com and this is the answer I got.

    Update: Chromium Portable now features most annoying splash screens on startup and shutdown that cannot be turned off.
