I use Chrome most of the time as my browser. Lately I found a radio station online which needs the Media Player 11 plugin in order to listen to it in real time. Unfortunately I can't get Chrome to install this plugin which incidentally it is the same Firefox uses.

After googling the problem, quite a number of people have complained about the same instance and Google suggestion is that once installed on Firefox it should work for Chrome as well (somebody cynically commented about the suggestion as being a good reason to keep Firefox on board!).

Apparently it works for some and doesn't for others (I'm in the second group).

Anybody with the magical solution? I do have Firefox and obviously I can switch browsers easily (it works also with IE8 for that matter); the point is that there might be other websites using the same plugin in the future.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
