have successfully restored my own data from partition E but when i try and restore my programmes C I am halted at the stage of choosing the restored partition type. Selecting either Active,Primary or Logical resulted in a window saying "Cannot change partition type to Activel, Primary or Primary"
I have alreadt partially restored C from a disk which was one year ago and wish to bring the restore up to date. As\I understand it from previous messages the latest restore will delete the previous one.
    C is the NTFS partition

Further to my message I shoulf have pointed out that when asked to select the partition I wanted they were all greyed out witha note saying that the partitions already restored are all checked off and disabled
Alsi the partitions with not enough space are also disabled
In fact I have used only 6.8GB from the 17.1 GB C partition
