    "Chase website returns after outage

Around noon ET on Friday, Chase's technical support confirmed on Twitter that "some customers are experiencing difficulties logging in." By about 6 p.m. ET, it said that most online services except for payments were functioning."

Just seems a bit strange that two totally unrelated major financial firms had their websites go down at the same time. FBI and Homeland Security reported they saw nothing suspicious. Perhaps all of each banks transactions are handled through the same third - party transaction processor.
