Hi, I successfully cloned a Windows to another machine witch TI6 and it worked fine unless some servers like WSUS does not recognize the difference between the two machines. I guess I have to change the Windows UUID? At least VMware makes it while cloning some virtual machines - so how can I do this by manual interention?

    Thanks in advance, Tobias.

    Hello gom,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

You can try to migrate your Windows system to different hardware using Microsoft System Preparation Tool (sysprep). Please read the FAQ on our web-site to prepare your system for migrating the data to different hardware.

If you have any other questions or encounter any problems please feel free to contact us again. We will certainly try to help you.

    Thank you.

Thank you, will try that. I found also a tool from Sysinternals called NewSID which should do the job.

BTW, great product - helps a lot!
