Osaban, you probably installed version 4.18.4842. Thats the one I installed yesterday and the one for which you have to disable the icon. To disable the icon in that version you had to untick "Enable active monitoring" in Options>Advanced. I am keeping version 4.18.4842 since its working fine for me. Bo
Thanks Bo, I've just installed build 48.44 and indeed after unticking "Enable system monitoring" and "Enable active monitoring" the icon definitely disappears. With build 4842 I had only one "Enabled system monitoring as a choice which didn't affect the tray icon...
How does Task Manager display the effects of these checked or unchecked boxes? "Not displaying" is one thing. "Not running" can be another.
