What is a PUA ?

 

There is no need to wait for the Slim build. The standard download already contains the Slim build. You can extract the Slim build executables from the standard download with 7-Zip. The downloaded Slim build executables (32 and 64 bit) and the standard download executables have the same MD5 and SHA-1.

 

As I already mentioned in a previous post, you can do exactly the same thing with CCleaner-Portable; the executables are identical in all builds.

I'm don't mean you specifically, but there is always someone starting the discussion again. That gets old very quickly.

 

Exactly who is starting the discussion that we have to ignore every time? Your intentions are misplaced.

And in the end, no matter how much evidence is provided, some people won't listen. Fact of life, moving on.

 

I installed Ccleaner on a friend's computer today. Ccleaner had never been installed in that computer before and no extra software was offered. I've no idea why it wasn't offered.

Folks, why don't you ask developers to clarify all the mystery about the bundled software? I reckon you actually don't want to know it because you wouldn't have a monthly topic to discuss about, ponder, wonder etc.

I only think that you don't have to have Chrome, just a Chromium browser. That would explain, having Opera Chromium, why I didn't get the additional applications offered.
