Thanks for the update, good to know that it cleans traces of Sandboxie, despite not having found anything here. I use the portable version.

Just release the SLIM version the same time as the other builds. Having to wait an extra week with EACH new release is ridiculous.

    Lame.

Nope....same. In fact, I haven't been "offered" anything in quite a few releases so I routinely grab the regular build.

What's Pando? Might be a spelling mistake there.

It offered me Chrome on first install. Subsequent installs won't have anything, unless you uninstall.

Oh that. Panda would've been more useful in my opinion.

what is ridiculous? u mean downloading the marginally larger regular installer that openly gives you the OPTION to not install any toolbars or browsers if you so choose? has clicking a check box become soo tedious of a task in today's world...

Fair enough.....but the same can be said about releasing the slim version along with the other versions. Since ALL CCleaner versions are "freeware"......what advantages is there delaying the release of the slim version?

    Weaksauce.

Bundled third-party software gives them money.

Yep! Thar she blows! Question, however --> If you have the slim (or "standard") build installed on your computer, is there a problem with downloading the portable build, unzipping it, and then simply overwriting the old .exe file in your CCleaner directory with the new one? I mean, there really is not much to the program beyond that executable file and, that way, one would not have to wait for the slim build to be released.

FYI. I did have the Slim before, but yesterday I just couldn't wait until this Slim version was released so I installed the normal version but I opted out for the G-toolbar. And so far it's working just as usual.

But if it works with the portable build idk.
