Carbonite?

Does anyone here us Carbonite to back up their pics, videos etc. and if so any likes/dislikes? I just purchased a 1 year subscription after having a couple of computer disasters where I lost some pics etc.

 

I've used it previously and I liked the idea. However, I did not feel comfortable with my data being stored on a server not in my direct control. I've switched to an external harddrive for my backup issues, and considering the annual fee, I feel that this might be cheaper in the long run as storage device prices continue to fall.

Otherwise, I've found it to be a solid product, and you really can't beat the ease of access anywhere you go.
