Can't use boot disc

    I am having a problem using boot disc. Have burned a cd and keep getting an error BIOS HANDOFF FAILED. Tried 3 different discs with same results.
    Also tried 3 1/2 discs and get error on second disc DISC READ ERROR. Have tried 2 different sets of discs.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I made the full version with the cd and the safe version with the 3 1/2 discs
