Can't Uninstall Zone Alarm 5.0

I'm new here. Trying to clean up granddaughter's computer running Win98SE. Was referred to Wilders member Tazdevl's instructions for installing the clean switch to ZA's uninstall properties. Did that and it didn't work on version 5.0.590.015. Does anyone have advice on how to get rid of ZA? I get error popup: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\GLB1115.TMP\VSINIT.DLL and beneath that "Validation failed for C:\Windows\Temp\Vsinit.dll"

....Or so I thought. Just ran a HJT scan and found at least two appearances of Zlclient.exe and True Vector (from Zone Labs).

Do I have permission to post a Hijackthis log showing these appearances?
