I have a RAID 0 setup with 2 WD Caviar 80GB P-ATA drives. I'm running Windows XP w/SP2. The RAID is currently setup with 60+GB in drive C: and there is another 80+GB on drive G:. I want to either have 120GB on drive C: or merge the two partitions into one big one. I've tried both merging and re-sizing using Disk Director. Both seem to work since the computer reboots and it goes through the magic of re-partitioning then it re-boots again, but when Windows restarts, I still have the two paritions with their original sizes. I'm pretty puzzled to say the least. I read in the FAQ that Disk Director supports RAID, although I thought perhaps this was the problem.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated, otherwise, I sort of feel I wasted some money on this product.

    Thanks.

    Hello ThunderT,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

Please download the latest version of Acronis drivers, install it with disabled logging and see if the problem still persists.

If the problem still persists then enable logging by running the Acronis drivers installation package once again, reproduce the problem and collect the c:\snapapi.log file.

Please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
