Can't log application's activity?

    Sorry, Frederic, :oops: the last question of this weekend. Hope you don't mind.

    I want to monitor an application's internet activities (content). But in the log, it only shows the IP:port. No content at all. Is this normal?

    Look 'n' Stop Application filtering layer by default is designed to work very early in the process before a lot of information like addresses and ports are available.

    do you mean the internet connection contents of an application is alway not logged?

    No, it is not logged at the application filtering level.

    However you can create an internet filtering rule to log this content.
    Of course if another application uses the same port at the same time, you will not log specifically just this application.
    You can anyway associate the application to the logging rule, so it will limit the log as soon as this application disconnects.
