Can't Install ESS 4

Hello. I have tried multiple times to install ESS 4 trial version. Every thing goes fine until what seems like the install wizard is just about done, when it stops, and I get this error message...........

ESET Smart Security Wizard Ended Prematurely because of an error. You system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please.....

Click the finish button to exit the Setup Wizard.

Anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I'm running Win 7/64.

 

what is the location of the install file? Also assuming you had another AV product use its removal tool to ensure all of it is gone

 

Cudni...Thanks for the quick reply. I believe the location is C:/Program Files (X86). I'll have to run the install again to make sure, but I'll do that later on today. Got other things to do. I was running Avast IS. I haven't had a problem with it uninstalling properly before.

Just to make sure, before installing your ESET security product again, try running the Avast uninstaller you will find here:

If the installation problem persists, try creating an installation log error as per these instructions:
