Have just downloaded trial of TI8. Attempted to create drive image on NEC 2500A DVD-RW. The program keeps kicking out the disk, message says it can't write to the disk, possible reason is defective media, but I used a disk previously used and erased, and then a new untouched disk. Realize this may not be a TI problem, but then again...

Thanks for any help. Would love to be able to use the product.

    Hi, OldBob

Welcome to Wilders and Acronis Forums.

The reason that it is ejecting the DVD media is because Ti, does not write to any DVD Media as it say in the FAQ

The best thing to do is to search for create image on DVD-RW on this forum, and you will find 12 thread with yours on the problem.

Sorry not to be of more help.

    Take Care,

    Hello OldBob

TI can't create an image to DVD RW unless you have compatible UDF packet writing software (e.g. InCD) installed and running in the background. The DVD+/-RW needs to be UDF formatted via this software. If using InCD, this is achieved by opening Windows Explorer, right clicking on the DVD burner and selecting "InCD Format".

Please read my reply to this <previous thread> for more info on how to create an image on DVD and let us know how you got on.

    Regards
