I give up... Acronis don't like me!
    Bootable rescue media
CD: burns a cd ok, Acronis loader fatal error (partition) not found
    Floppy: error OS not found

    Abit Fatal1ty AA8XE Intel 325 chipset P4 3.4 550, 1g ram
    Plextor PX-712SA burner
    RAID0 SATA raid array
    XP Pro SP2

have IDE cd rom and working floppy that can boot.

Acronis goes through the motions of creating either floppy or cd bootable rescue media but neither will boot.

    Hello db2044,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

First of all, please make sure you use the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/my/products/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download. After that please create new Acronis Bootable CD using the latest build.

If the probelm persists please try the "acpi=off noapic" workaround as described at Acronis Help Post and if it doesn't help please create sysinfo.txt in the way described at the same post and send it to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and provide you with the possible workaround.

    Thank you.
