I cannot connect to my other networked computer. If I uncheck Internet filtering then it will connect ok. I thought that it might be one of the rules blocking but I removed them one by one and testing till they were all gone and it was still blocked.

Then thought that a rule needed to be added but not sure what should be enabled.

I found the relative log entry and made a rule from that. Nothing was created and it made no difference.

Can someone help me here please.

    Hi,

If you removed all the the rules, normally it's like disabling internet filterning.
So this is a strange behaviour.

Normally just importing the following rules:
    http://www.looknstop.com/En/rules/rules.htm#File Sharing
should allow the local file sharing between computers.

    Thanks Frederick

Tried those rules but no difference. It maybe that it is because I use NetBios to connect to the other m/c. I have never managed to get it to connect via TCP even without a f/w.

    Thanks Frederick

No Norton anywhere on the system.

I have really given up with LnS. There are no problems with Kerio so looks like I will stick with that for the present.
