Cant boot Windows XP from os selector!!!

    Hi, not sure whats going on but cant boot xp from os selector, tried using Grub instead from a suse linux install and it works fine, Os selector has always worked on other computers,
    HELP Please!!!!:thumbd:

    Sounds like it might be a problem with OSS rather than your XP install as Grub works.
    Try uninstalling OSS using the Acronis DD Boot rescue disk, checking if you can boot to WinXP without it (should be OK- providing its on the 1st partition on your HD) and re-installing OSS again from the Boot rescue disk

    Could you please describe the issue in more details? What axectly you see while trying to boot your Windows XP? Could you please clarify what error messages appear, if any?

    If you want us to investigate the issue more thoroughly then please create Acronis Report in the way described below:

    - Download and run Acronis Report Utility;
    - Select the "Create Bootable Floppy" option;
    - Insert a blank floppy disk in the A: drive and proceed with creation of the bootable floppy;
    - Boot the computer from this diskette and wait for report creation process to finish;
    - Collect the report file from the floppy.

    Please submit a request for technical support. Attach the collected report.txt file to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.
