Can't boot up due to trojan-spy.html.smitfraud.c

    Help meeeee! I've got PC running windows 98 infected with trojan-spy.html.smitfraud.c. and can't boot in normal or safe modes. Every time I do, I get the blue screen about a fatal error in IE due to trojan-spy.html.smitfraud.c and that's as far as I get.

    PS I saw some solutions on this site but they all for people that don't have a problem booting up.

    Is all hope lost?
