    Could someone pls help? -

I installed Rollback RX & upon reboot, it keeps trying to go into the program & then giving me this error:
Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
Could not read from selected boot disk.
Check boot path and disk hardware.

I've tried booting in safe mode and various repair disk options & nothing gets me past that error. Even hitting the Home option on Rollback. Check boot path comes up again. I just can't get back to the base OS. If I could, I would remove rollback in a heartbeat.

    Thx very much!

The only way that I can think of doing that without uninstalling it is restoring/rebuilding the MBR that it modifies so that it gets in before Windows starts. But I am not sure as to the best method of doing that.

I got the impression that jg3331 cannot access the computer he is having the problem with as it "...giving me this error:
Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
Could not read from selected boot disk.
Check boot path and disk hardware."

I think that he cannot access msconfig.

Have you tried booting from a Live CD, and working from within there?
