Running acronis true image v8 build 903.

The rescue CD will not allow me to restore an image from a network share provided by a windows 2003 server.

I get the (pretty common it seems) login/password issue, where I get asked repeatedly for a username and password for the share on the server.

The share is accessable to everyone there are no permissions required to access it and this is verified by mapping it from another PC (and also my PocketPC).

Acronis seems unable to use this network drive.

This is obviously a known issue based on the number of forum threads on it but no solution seems to be available.....

Does anyone have a fix for this ?

    Hello Hodders,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please make sure Acronis Bootable CD was created with the latest build. Also please try to specify the full user name in the way described at Acronis FAQ article.

    Thank you.
