    Hi,

    Windows 7 RTM (fully patched).

When I try to insatll PrevX manually, from the MSI, or if I push it from the console, PrevX gets 90% through the install and then crashes "Prevx needs to close". I close the box and it appears again, time after time. The only way to re is to go to Task Manager and kill the Prevx process whilst it's crashing.

Can anyone advise why it would crash and burn on this Win 7 system ? All our other systems, running the same software and same AV (NOD32 4.2.71) are fine, we just can't get it installed on this one.

    Many thanks,

    Jim

Could it be possible that the PC is infected? It may be worthwhile seeing if the consumer version installs at all or runs into the same problem, and, if so, you may want to try installing with a randomized filename.

    Let me know your results!

Sorry to trawl up an old thread, but this one slipped through the net.......I forgot my user was having this problem :)

Anyway, I've downloaded and run the removal tool, rebooted, and then manually installed from the PrevX Enterprise .MSI file. All seems to have gone well and PrevX is no longer in its crash/restart/crash/restart cycle.

    Many thanks
