    Hello Acronis,

I have a problem with acronis true image.
I am trying to use this in my school. We have a PXE Server and a licensed copy of your software. I have to admit neither of us really know much about PXE, but we have step-by-step scripts from students who done this before succesfully. We followed it exactly.
We created an image of a computer(win2000) and uploaded it on the schools server. still everything succesfully.
When we try to copy it onto the other computers(about 30) we are facing problems though. We activate the snap deploy agent and deactivated the option to upload the image. according to acronis this agent is started succesfully. When we start the other computers they say(translated from German):
    starting acronis
    download bootwiz.cfg...
(after like a minute) download bootwiz.cfg...
    (after like another minute)error!

Very interesting is, that it actually works occasionally(very occasionally, after like 50 restarts). But we want to do this regularly with all 30 computers, so we need it to work correctly.

We have tried everything we could think of. We have restarted the pxe server and googled for hours.
Please help us! If you have further questions, I will answer as good as I can.

    Thank you,
    Max

    Hello max312,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image

There can be a number of reasons for such situation. They range from the amount of available licenses to multicast deployment peculiarities.

    • Check if Acronis License Server has sufficient amount of available licenses.
    • Try to deploy images using the Unicast method. You can choose this in the Create Template wizard.

    Best regards,
