Cannot create Image

I have just purchased latest TI 8.0. received 19th Sept.
New release TI 9.0 came out days later......... Ouch.

After installing TI8 and trying to New Image, I get a message,


E000 70021: cannot create the image of logical driveC:
because it is currently in use by running applications or
the logical drive contains bad sectors.

I have installed new drive and checked all partions,All are ok.
I am already out of date with TI8 but would like it to work

I have run a Acronisreport.txt on my computer but it seems too
big to include in this post. how do I send it to you? I tried uploading
attachment but it doesn't seem to work
