Cannot create image on a DVD

I searched for a similar post here and did not find one.

True Image 8.0 works fine creating an image to hard disk but I can't get it to work with my DVD burner.
It ejects the disc with the message, "Please insert cd".
The burner is a Plextor 716SA and it works fine otherwise.

The manual says that Ture Image can create and restore from DVD+R or -R.

Anyone have a clue?

roxio easy cd creator or similar, do a goggle and you mite find some freeware,

Maybe this <previous reply> will help.

Note that the User's Guide FAQ is a bit misleading regarding DVD-R as Acronis do not recommend this medium. The Acronis True Image Online FAQ more accurately explains DVD imaging.
