My download times have become intolerable, SO slow - running XP SP2, Verizon DSL & still version 2.51.30 for NOD32. When the problem started, I was using a Westell Versalink Router with Verizon DSL. However, I have just installed the Actiontec Gateway GT704WG Router, still Verizon DSL, but there is no improvement in download times.

My POP3 compatibility is set to Maximum Efficiency.

I download from Audible.com & the downloads can take over 2 hours. Audible says they should take under 10 minutes max.

The FAQs said don't do the Winsock fix & IMON repair unless instructed to do so. Does this problem sound like a candidate for these fixes?

(An aside, after the Actiontec install, my DNS suffix now shows domain_not_set.invalid), which has not been resolved yet.

Hi hjbyram, if you "Quit" IMON and try downloading from that site, does it make a difference? If so, then Winsock and IMON repair may help.

    Cheers :D

PS. do NOT forget to restart IMON after testing.
