I'm sorry, I know that you're all really busy, but I've been waiting for two days (48 hours) and no one has given me any assistance at all. This is including the previous topic I made, in which snowbound said I should wait a little while before I get a response. Snowbound, do I really have to wait 2 days to get assistance? I hope I can get some help soon. I see a lot of other people getting help but I'm not. Maybe you just keep missing my topic by coincidence, but I hope I'm not being ignored like a nobody. I really appreciate the work you guys are doing on this board, and I hope you guys can help me as well.

    Hello Drum !

We really apologise for the delay in response. I just came to know about your issue from snowbound. Anyway...

Srum, as you have a number of issues, I suggest you proceed as follows:

Download the latest version of Ad-Aware at http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

After installing AAW, and before running the program, you NEED to FIRST update the reference file following these instructions.

    Now do the following:

    - Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweak > Scanning Engine:
check: "Unload recognized processes during scanning."

    - Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweak > Cleaning Engine:
Check: Let Windows remove files in use after reboot.

    Press Scan Now

    - Check option "Use Custom scanning options"
    - Check option "Activate In-Depth Scan"
    - Press "Select drives\folders to scan"
    - Select the active partition which is usually C:

Now press Next to let Ad-aware scan your drives... It will find a number of bad files and registry keys. Right-click in that pane and choose select all Now press Next again. It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK.

Finally, close Ad-Aware, and reboot. That ought to get rid of most of your spyware.

    Also, clear your IE cache.

When you've done all that, re-run Hijack This, and show us a fresh log. There will be more to do!

    With Thanks !
    Newkid !

    Hello Drum..

On the top, please go to windows control panel add remove program sections and remove all the Wild Tangent Games entries like WT Game Channel and others.
Note: Wild Tanget's privacy policy states they also collect and share individuals information

Now, before you start fixing the log, please move HijackThis.Exe to a separate folder of its own. The program will make backups to the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder or a folder with other programs.

The entry in blue color is optional to fix. These are either typically infrequently used tasks that can be started manually if necessary or a resource hog which isn't necessary for the operation of your system.

Reboot your machine and boot into safe mode by tapping F8 key(8-9 times) at bootup.

This may happen that file is hidden so first unhide the files using following instructions...
    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...Virus Corporate Edition&ver=8.x&osv=&osv_lvl=

Search and If present, delete all the following file(s)..

    winexec32.bpq

Also in safe mode navigate to the C:\DOCUME~1\default\LOCALS~1\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

    Empty the Recycle Bin

When you've done all that, restart your machine, re-run Hijack This, and show us a fresh log.

    With Thanks !

I chose NOT to delete the optional one because I am a very unsure person. Don't get me wrong I totally trust you guys, but I'm very hesitant to do things when I don't really know much about it. >_<

By the way I don't see any problems in browsing or on my computer anymore.

    Hello Drum..

Sorry, I took sometime to get back to you.

Your new log seems clean to me. :)

I highly recommend that you go to Windows update(Start-->Windows update) and install all "Critical Updates and Service Packs" ASAP!. This will patch numerous security holes in IE and Windows.

Secondly, Please read this article : Why did I get infected in the first place ?

    With Thanks !
    Newkid !
